How the funds are used

As a volunteer-run organisation, it is important to us to be transparent about the generated funds and how they were used. Therefore, we share our donation volume and expenses every year.

2024

In 2024, we were able to generate a total of €11,629 in donations.

Of this, €4,986 was spent. One-time costs included €148 for the founding of the association and €40 for public relations and administrative expenses (e.g., website and banking fees).

Approximately 97% of total expenditures (€4,800) went directly towards scholarships and college application fees. A very small portion (around €35) was allocated to our partner organisation in Ghana to cover local administrative expenses.
Our team in Germany works entirely on a voluntary basis, so no personnel costs arise.
